With the Grammy awards set to go live tomorrow self-acclaimed ‘Mama Africa’, Yemi Alade, has been picked by the Grammy Recording Academy to be one of those who would announce nominees.

The event will be live streaming tomorrow Tuesday, 24th November, at 9a.m. PT / 12p.m. ET on Recording Academy’s socials.

The organizer’s made the announcement on Twitter listing the acts who would join in a list where Yemi Alade joins the likes of Dua Lipa, Lauren Daigle, Gayle King, to mention a few.
The tweet read, “JUST ANNOUNCED:

This would be the 63rd edition of the Grammy Award which is slated to hold on the 31st of January 2021. Yemi Alade was a nominee in 2019 with her “Woman of Steel” album.

With her newly released album “Empress’’ already getting hundreds of thousands of streams on BoomPlay we would guarantee her a nomination or two this year.

Would she make it this year? Our fingers remain crossed.
