All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator, who is also the spokesman of the 9th Assembly of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Ajibola Bashir has lamented failure of the ruling party in securing lives and properties of the citizens.
Dr Basiru, who is representing Osun Central Senatorial District made this known on Monday during an interview on Rave FM, Osogbo.
According to the senator ” Security and welfare is the primary responsibility of government, a society that is not secured can not talk about welfare”.
The senator said the latest killing of 43 Borno rice farmers beheaded by terrorist group, Boko Haram showed the woeful performance of the federal government in handling the nation’s security.
