Lagos Mainland Local Government Chairman, Honorable Mrs Omolola Essien received the Chairman of Lagos State’ National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in person of Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (Mc Oluomo) at the council secretariat.
The working visit which took about 2-hours at the office of the executive Chairman is to enhance the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the council and to sustain the relationship between the council and the Transporters of Lagos Mainland Local Government Areas.
In his submission, the transporter leader in the state eulogized the support the union has been getting from the Government down to all the LGs/LCDAs and appealed that the status quo should remain. The council boss appreciated the timely visit of the team, solicited for their continuous support and urged them to be of good conducts while and promises more development in the Local Government Areas. The team also visited the BRT Bus terminal as part of the working visit to Lagos Mainland Local Government.
