The ambassador of Israel to Nigeria, Mr Michael Freeman has paid a visit to the presidential flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his campaign headquarters in Abuja. The detail of their discussion was not made public. The ambassador was accompanied by Consular General of the Israeli embassy in Nigeria.
Nigeria and Israel enjoy symbiotic diplomatic relationship for several decades. The mutual relationship between the two countries help in providing trade opportunities that lead to significant economic growth and development. The government of Israel has been strategic partner with Nigeria in terms of security, health and commerce.
