The Quintessential icon, HRH Queen Mother Amina Temitope Labinjo-Ajayi, F.I.I.M, a woman with a heart of gold, a philanthropists like no other has rollout the second batch of interest-free loans worth N10.5million to victims of #EndSARS protest in Lekki, Lagos.

The Chairman CEO Silicon Valley Nigerian Economic Development SV-NED Inc. (Silicon Valley Cooperative Multipurpose Society) in partnership with Global Connection for Women Foundation (GC4W) and Masterplan Finance UK Ltd, while giving out the cash recently in her Lekki home expressed so much joy said:

“Am delighted over the beneficiaries’ commitment towards being responsible citizens of this great country by being faithful in paying up their initial loans now got double the amount to help them financially become independent. Each of the more than 200 #EndSARS victims got a loan of between N40, 000 and N80, 000 depending on the kind of investment they chose to engage in. Our ultimate goal is to heal and revive Nigeria through helping the youths, empowering them and saving the country from destruction”.

 

The US-based Nigerian business consultant and former President of All Nigerian American Congress (ANAC) whose efforts and continued advocacy on the Nigerian Diaspora issues have earned her in the media the moniker “Mama Diaspora”, an Iconic inspiration of hope and love said the initiative is specially designed for the #EndSARS Nigerian young adults. It could be recalled that mama diaspora gave out the first tranche of the loan three weeks ago was moved by the sufferings of young Nigerians as a mother, decided to reach out to my children and friends in the diaspora to help assist these youths to be financially independent.

 

“Thank God they gave me some money and I have been able to do this and I pray these contributors will never lack. Before giving out the loans, we engaged the young adults in business development training to enable them thrive in their various businesses. We still need funding to do more, it’s a collective effort and I appreciate ‘my angels investors’ (financial supporters) for reaching out, you too can reach out to help save our young adults to be self-reliant”, she appealed.

Ranked 3 top Nigerian Philanthropist, HRH Queen Mother Temitope also gave those that got N20,000 before N40,000, gold medals, food items such as rice, noodles, eggs, vegetable oil, wheat, semovita, spaghetti, beverage, soft drink, umbrella and other prizes.
