The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has led other senior police officers and rank and file cadre of the Command to take the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine at the Area F Command, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.
In a press statement by command’s spokesman, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, “The Commissioner of Police, after the Commands Management meeting and the press briefing on the achievements of the command, in his office, moved to the Vaccination centre at about 2.30pm.
“He afterwards urged other personnel of the Command to get vaccinated as front line workers. He advised that the action will shield them from the pandemic and keep them safe whenever they are on duty and, even off duty.
The police boss has scheduled the personnel on Area Command basis for the exercise for easy administration. He also urged the general public to avail themselves the opportunity of the vaccination as the pandemic is real and must be tackled by all means.
