The Senator Oluremi Tinubu Elderly Citizens’ Assistance Scheme is aimed at effectively catering for the needs of the elderly residents of our community.
The theme for this year was tagged ‘Elderly care and the new normal’ which was executed door-to-door to all the 5 wards within the community. Senior citizens of the community were presented with food items, financial assistance etc. They were further enlightened on the need to continuous wearing of face masks and other preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Present at the outreach were the Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu OON representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Mr. Olawale Edun a leader and former commissioner for Finance in Lagos state, the Executive Chairman, Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Hon. Fuad Atanda-Lawal his wife Mrs. Mosope Atanda-Lawal our distinguished Councillors and other members of staff.
Beneficiaries expressed their joy and satisfaction as their needs were made a priority.
